I'm Michael Benson, have been in Spain for over 25 years and was probably the first to expat to register a foreign car in Spain when in August 2002 I bought a German Ford ESCORT XR3i Convertible from a local dealer and then had the car impounded due to no Spanish registration. It took 6 weeks to complete the new Spanish registration and get the car out of the Police impound.
I am a registered and authorised Gestoria, which means I deal with all the documentation, taxes and registration with the DGT (Spanish Traffic Office) in house and not pass everytyhing to a third party.
Since then I have imported many vehicles from countries all over Europe the UK, Canada and the USA.

I am also the specialist in the importation of vehicles as an expert in Spanish customs, working with the 'Aduana' (Customs Office)

I also have unique arrangements with the authorities to register vehicles that normally would not be allowed to be registered in Spain.
